Beginner to Job-ready

After 2 years of SBA being in business, we have come to realize that there is a great demand for an intensive Beginner to Job Ready Barbering course. We have constructed a 16 week course to meet this demand and to allow students to become competent barbers in a much quicker timeframe.
This course covers the same material in the same amount of training hours as our current Beginner to Job Ready course, but due to the intensity, all modules are completed much quicker.

We are so confident that we can get you to the level you need to be at to join the barbering world.

Our commitment to you means that we are constantly looking for ways to help you master the techniques so you can reach your full potential.

The most thorough barbering course for beginners in Scandinavia, delivered by master barbers both scandinavian and international with a combined experience of 30 years.

By the time you finish the course you will be cutting hair at a premium standard, ready to work immediately in a shop.

You will learn our expert, methodical approach to each hairstyle, cutting on a combination of head blocks and real models provided by us.

We will cover basic to advanced techniques and every aspect of men’s hair, giving you the confidence to begin your career in barbering.

Weeks 1-2

You will be learning on head-blocks, beginning with the most basic techniques to build the solid fundamental foundations.

Weeks 3-6

You will be cutting on real people, putting into practice all of the new techniques and hairstyle steps you have learnt. An educator will be by your side giving you the guidance and input needed to develop your skills.

Weeks 7-9

Continuing cutting real people, we will be focusing on more advanced haircuts such as fading. We will also be building up your confidence and independence, whilst focusing on time management.

Weeks 10-16

You will be completely independently cutting, preparing to work in a shop!
